Joy and Eric are getting married here in Chicago, but they currently live in sunny SF! They were so sweet to fly me out there to take their engagement photos and I’m honestly so glad they did because the trip introduced me to how wonderful these two are. (PLUS they introduced me to so many amazing parts of San Francisco that I wouldn’t have otherwise seen!)

We started out at their favorite beverage shop, Boba Guys, and my opinions of boba will never be the same. I thought I enjoyed boba tea before…but this. This basically ruined all other boba for me, it was that great. If anyone knows of a boba shop that is remotely comparable in Chicago, please let me know in the comments lol.

From there, they took me out for tacos (which aren’t pictured below simply because I ate them much too quickly and that time was mainly about hanging out with eachother). But THEN we went to the Green Apple Books where literally all of my bookstore dreams came true. Little nooks and crannies to settle in and read, quirky gift items, hidden stairwells…it had everything you could want. So clearly, at this point, this session is telling me that Joy and Eric are way too cool for me. And then we got to the Sutro Baths…

It was as though they were creating the perfect day just for me (haha). There are no words to describe how pretty this spot was, so you’ll just have to take a look below 🙂 Thank you so much, Joy + Eric, for such a wonderful time! I can’t wait for your wedding day where we can make some more magic again in Chicago!
